Amber Lee, is a New York based entrepreneur and musician. Originally from Canada, Amber graduated from the Richard Ivey School of Business. Amber started her career within the Food and Beverage industry working for Tree of Life, an international Natural and Specialty food distributor within brand management, and Inbev, the worlds largest brewing company, traveling across North America and Europe within their Global Management Trainee program. Upon moving to New York in 2007, she transitioned into the online space, and has been embedded within the New York start up community ever since. Focused on marketing, business development and client services, Amber has worked at Tremor Video, the industries largest video advertising network, and Oddcast, an interactive media technology company, managing campaigns for clients such as CBS, P&G, Sony Entertainment, GM, Nissan, and Microsoft.
In 2010, Amber ventured out on her own co-founding the arts and culture website, Join Bklyn, the New York Content Meet Up, a monthly seminar series that has showcased speakers from the Huffington Post, New York Times, Squidoo and Digitas and Bklyn Haus, a freelance powered creative agency, working with such clients as Kraft Foods, Hewlett Packard, Oscar de la Renta, Loosecubes, the Canadian Tech Accelerator and Google. She worked for the San Francisco based men’s fashion site, Everlane, as a style advisor and performs regularly with her band Amber and Little Criminals.
Amber currently resides in Brooklyn with her girlfriend Meagan Cignoli and their dog Stevie Nicks.
